It is the goal of Interlibrary Loan to locate and acquire, whenever possible, a wide variety of materials considered to be essential components of the educational and research needs of our college community. The I.L.L. department is responsible for lending materials owned by Reed Library to other institutions. Reed Library's I.L.L. policy complies with all American Library Association guidelines and the copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code).
Currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff. Others should use the services of their public library.
*Please take care when ordering music scores through SUNY Resource Sharing. Some SUNY libraries catalog a score with parts as one item, which you can borrow in one request. Other SUNY libraries catalog their scores and parts separately, so multiple requests might be necessary to obtain all the parts. Please read the catalog description of each item carefully to ensure you select the correct item(s).
Approximately 7-10 days, depending on the score.
You will receive an email when your item is ready for pickup from the Reed-To-Go table in front of the Circulation Desk.
ILLiad: Renewals for all users are approved on a case-by-case basis by the lending library.
SUNY Resource Sharing: No renewals for undergraduates. Faculty, staff, and graduate students may request up to 3 renewals.
You may not order articles through SUNY Resource Sharing at this time.
