November is Native American Heritage Month, a month dedicated to the celebration of the histories and cultures of Native American populations. This is an opportunity to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people and raise awareness around current issues impacting communities today.

This virtual display coincides with the displays located in Reed Library from November 1 - 30.

In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, Bloomsbury/ABC-CLIO is providing full and open access to The American Indian Experience database, including more than 2,000 primary sources, historical inquiry activities, and explorations of historical and contemporary issues. The American Indian Experience is available in a School Edition, ideal for middle and high school students, and Academic Edition, ideal for use in higher education.
