
Reed Library is excited to introduce Reed Essentials, a series of digital badge courses designed to enhance students' academic and professional skills. These self-paced courses are hosted in FREDLearn and offer students the chance to earn digital badges that can be shared with instructors.
How It Works:
To get started, please submit a response to our request form. You will need to share your course roster for students to be enrolled. Please email Christina.Hilburger@fredonia.edu with any questions.

Duration: 2–2.5 hours
Description: This non-technical course introduces key AI concepts, including fundamentals, ethical considerations, and practical applications. Students will learn how AI impacts society and develop skills for responsible AI use. The course aligns with SUNY’s revised information literacy outcomes, helping students effectively evaluate and ethically use AI tools. Completion earns an AI Literacy badge.
