Interlibrary Loan - SLS & Reed Library - Procedures

I. Introduction

The School Library System (SLS) Interlibrary Loan plan provides an overview of Daniel A. Reed Library’s interlibrary loan procedures with the region's 27 districts and non-public schools.

II. Resource Access

SLS borrowers are encouraged to use the custom search bar embedded here to identify materials available for request through Reed Library:

 

 

IV. Delivery of Materials

SLS will coordinate material pick-up and subsequent delivery to school districts. SLS drivers will pick available materials up from SUNY Fredonia on Thursday mornings from the Thompson Hall mailroom.

V. Returns

All materials should be returned to the SLS who will coordinate the return of materials. 

VI. Lost Material Agreement

The Borrowing Districts will be responsible for lost or damaged materials while in their possession. The School Library System will be responsible for lost or damaged materials during transit.
