Reed Library’s new Instruct modules are online tutorials to help students build a foundation of information literacy and critical thinking skills. These modules provide a supplemental way for students to asynchronously complete foundational lessons on a range of topics such as getting started with research, finding and evaluating sources, citations, etc.

Integrating Instruct modules into a course allows you to utilize the grade function in OnCourse.
In your course, select "Add an activity or resource" for a given week or topic.
Select "External tool" from the list of options and click "Add."
Enter activity name for module being added
For Tool URL, paste the tutorial LTI link. For a full list of available modules & LTI links, see the LTI Links page.
Note: LTI links can only be used in OnCourse. Using them outside of OnCourse will result in an error message.
Update any desired settings before saving, including grading specifications.
