Tax Forms and Information: How to find forms and basic tax information

Access tax forms at Reed Library

Reed Library will NOT have printed tax forms.  However, Fredonia students, faculty, staff, and community members can print tax forms from the federal and state online sites (see below). 

Reference Librarians will print tax forms as needed for patrons during hours that the Reference Desk is staffed:  Monday-Wednesday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm; Thursday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; and Sunday, 4:00 to 8:00 pm.

Tax forms available at area libraries

These libraries will have some of the commonly used  federal and state tax forms:

Anderson-Lee Library – 43 Main St., Silver Creek, (716) 934-3468 

Dunkirk Public Library – 536 Central Ave., Dunkirk, (716) 366-2511 

Dunkirk Public Library also provides an informative page regarding federal, New York State, and other states’ tax forms.


Barker Public Library - 7 Day St., Fredonia, (716)672-0851 will NOT have any printed tax forms.

Federal tax instruction books are no longer sent to libraries. Instruction books for state tax preparation may or may not be available at local libraries.

Free tax preparation assistance

The United Way of Northern Chautauqua County provides assistance with income tax preparation. See the United Way NCC website for more information.
